After the contest the plants in the tank have been nothing short of exuberant growth and the algae have completely disappeared. Perhaps the two are attributable to the addition of organic carbon (Carbon Azoo Plus) that complements the CO2.
There is also to say that a couple of weeks I brought the addition of PO 4 from 0.4 ppm to 0.6 ppm per week per week. These values, which integrate the PO4 introduced through the feed, probably allows to get closer to the target of 1 ppm which represents the ideal relationship with the NO3 in the Redfield ratio (C: N: P = 106:16:1).
La crescita non ha interessato Hemianthus callitrichoides, in primo piano, che ancora stenta a crescere forse per la scarsità di luce.
Ho provveduto comunque ad una buona potatura cercando di dare un po di forma alle piante a stelo. Ne è risultata una vasca comunque più finita e più elegante.
Dopo un anno e mezzo non mi sono ancora deciso riguardo ai pesci. Inizialmente avevo deciso di ospitare una coppia di scalari ma adesso sono sempre più convinto che la vasca non sia grande a sufficienza per ospitare questo tipo di pesci. Ho paura che sofrirebbero per la scarsità di spazio. Stavo pensando di introdurre qualche gourami ma non riesco a decidere.
